Your First Office Visit
Our practice is committed to providing you and your family with safe, gentle, high-quality dental care. We understand that you, or your child, may feel anxious about visiting the dentist. We are sensitive to your needs, and it is our goal to make you feel comfortable visiting our practice while providing the best care possible.
Your first visit is all about you – your comfort, your happiness, and your health.
During your first visit to our office, we will take the time to carefully understand your dental concerns and needs. We will begin by reviewing your dental and medical history and, if necessary, take updated radiographs to check for decay and gum disease. A digital 3D scan of your teeth will be performed for precise imaging, followed by a full periodontal evaluation to assess the health of your gums. We will also examine your existing restorations to ensure they are in good condition. One of our hygienists will then clean and polish your teeth. The doctor will conduct a comprehensive examination, including an oral cancer screening, to ensure your overall oral health. Afterward, we will discuss all of our findings and recommendations with you, answering any questions you may have. Please note that your first visit will be scheduled for 90 minutes to ensure ample time for a complete and personalized evaluation, compared to the 60 minutes typically reserved for routine cleanings.
Bring your smile, but also remember to bring these with you to your first appointment:
-
Your completed patient information forms
-
Your insurance card

Please fill out your medical history and patient information forms online ahead of your appointment so that we may spend more time with you!

Regular checkups are an important part of maintaining a healthy smile!
The American Dental Association recommends visiting your dentist every six months for regular checkups and routine teeth cleanings to keep your teeth and gums healthy.

We understand that you have a busy schedule, so when you're preparing to visit the dentist, please remember that your first initial appointment will be scheduled for 2 hours and then subsequent appointments after that will be 60 minutes.
